Underrated Older Anime You've Probably Never Heard Of
Looking for some hidden anime gems but feel like you've seen all the ones from the past decade? Sometimes, the most underrated anime recommendations come from earlier years. Many incredible anime from the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s never got the love they truly deserved. If you're into philosophical stories with jaw-dropping art, you'll love films like Angel's Egg and Belladonna of Sadness. In the mood for something more fun and light-hearted? Slayers is a hilarious parody of classic fantasy tales filled with lovable, quirky characters. These underrated anime classics have stood the test of time, even if they’ve been overshadowed by more popular titles. Which ones have you seen?
