One fun detail about anime is that you can usually find out a character's birthday, and therefore their sign. Whether you want to analyze a character through an astrological lens or just want to know whether your fave shares your sign, this information is worth knowing. For this list, we'll be focusing on the fire sign Sagittarius. Anime characters who are Sagittarius encompass all those who are born between November 22nd and December 21st. A typical Sagittarian is fun-loving, sociable, and adventurous, but might come off as unreliable, tactless, or stubborn. Some Sagittarius anime characters fit the bill perfect - Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen is a great example - while others seem more suited for different signs. Yuuri Katsuki from Yuri!!! on ICE isn't exactly your typical Sag. Which Sagittarius anime characters are your favorites? Vote them up to let the world know your thoughts.

Birthday: December 7th Not every astrological assignment is a hit, but in Gojo's case it's nearly perfect. Though he seems airheaded and capricious, he's a wildly talented Curse user who can throw down with even the toughest opponents. He does a great job at showing off his sign's potential.
Birthday: December 21st Eri is a little girl who is in the process of healing from trauma, so it's hard to say what her true personality is. But it seems like she's enthusiastic and kind whenever she's around people she trusts - both traits that are common among Sagittarians.
Birthday: December 20th Ken Kaneki begins Tokyo Ghoul as a sweet, mild-mannered college student who just wants to live a peaceful life of reading books and maybe finding a girlfriend. When he's transformed into a Ghoul, he has to radically re-conceive his personality and his willingness to fight to protect himself. Sagittarians don't start out timid - they're extroverted and adventurous from the jump.
Birthday: December 14th Hailing from a wealthy noble family, Ciel Phantomhive is a proud and proper boy - one who is also willing to sacrifice everything for revenge. Sagittarians are typically pretty chill, but when they get fixated on something they can pursue it to their own detriment. So while Ciel's not exactly a model Sag, he does have that trait in common.
Birthday: November 27th Two key Sagittarian trait are optimism and enthusiasm. These are traits that Rock Lee has radiating out of him like sunshine. It doesn't matter that he can't mold chakra, he's still going to be an amazing ninja - and he's going to do it while screaming with joy.
Birthday: December 2nd Sagittarians aren't afraid to say what they think, which might be why Mai Sakurajima can often be found dishing out blunt insults. But while she's honest about her opinions, she tends to stuff down her feelings to avoid dealing with them. This is where she starts to diverge a bit from what's expected of her sign.
Birthday: December 1st These two body-swapping lovers were actually born on the same day, December 1st. Like their sign, they're willing to go to unfathomably great lengths to give their own and other peoples' lives meaning. They're also both quite open-minded and intelligent - a lot of people wouldn't have been able to figure out how to deal with the whole body-swapping thing.
Birthday: December 5th Like any people born under Sagittarius, nothing is more important to Lelouch Lamperouge than his ideals. No matter what the personal cost might be, he refuses to give up on saving Japan from colonial rule. He knows the pain his own family can put people through, and he wants to spare others from that pain.
Birthday: December 5th Sailor Jupiter, also known by her real name Makoto Kino, is a tough, independent young woman who takes care of those around her. She's definitely not as easy-going or spontaneous as a typical Sag.
Birthday: December 13th Mello might not be as friendly as your average Sagittarian, but he does have some traits in common with the fire sign. On the positive side, he's a strong-willed person who never gives up on his goals. On the negative side, he doesn't really listen to other people, and he can be excessively harsh with his insults.
Birthday: November 26th Sagittarius is an interesting choice for Yuuri, since in many ways he's the sign's opposite. Rather than being adventurous and enthusiastic, Yuuri is anxious and prone to depression. His love for Victor can propel him to embrace the sign's more positive traits, though.
Birthday: December 4th Asuka is the hot-headed pilot of Evangelion Unit-02. Her brash attitude and acerbic tongue make it hard for others to get along with her. Though she seems confident, her behavior is actually a front to hide her deep insecurity and sadness. This sign does tend to hide its true emotions under false ones, but Sagittarians usually opt for pretending to be happy instead.
Birthday: November 27th Yui Hirasawa isn't especially bright, but she's super friendly and sweet. She also has some unexpected talents, like perfect pitch. Her happy, open personality easily connects her with her sign.
Birthday: December 1st Ulquiorra is a cold, nearly emotionless person who stays calm in all situations. He believes that if he can't see something - like human emotions - then it doesn't actually exist and he doesn't have to deal with it. While a typical Sagittarian might express their thoughts in a less-than-polite way, they're usually in touch with their own and other people's emotions.
Birthday: November 25th As the third child of the Charlotte Family Katakuri has some heavy responsibilities. He takes his role seriously and fights diligently for the sake of his family. He has a good sense of his own skill level, neither over-estimating, or under-estimating himself. This kind of level-headed approach to life isn't really in line with Sagittare
Birthday: December 14th At first, Rei comes across as a stuffy nerd, but once he gets more comfortable with the Iwatobi Swim Club, he reveals his true self, which is a fabulously extra drama queen. While this side of his personality meshes with the Sagittarean model, the sign isn't a strong his for him overall.
Birthday: November 30th When this sign falls in love, they tend to funnel all of their emotional energy into that relationship at the expense of everything else. That's Nana Komatsu to a tee - she falls in love fast and hard, and once she does, nothing else matters. She channels the sign's sense of spontaneity, optimism, and friendliness. Unfortunately, she also has a tendency to ignore important details and make split-second plans without thinking them through.
Birthday: December 14th Few signs are more likely to create a microwave that sends messages through time than Sagittarius. This sign is bursting with curiosity and an adventurous spirit, which is why it fits Rintaro Okabe so well.
Birthday: December 1st Juri Arisugawa is one of several duelists fighting to obtain the power to revolutionize the world. On the outside, she's tough as nails, but on the inside she's feeling pretty emotionally raw from a love experinece gone bad. Like many Sagittarians, she's hiding how she really feels - but unlike her sign, she's not doing it with fake laughter.
Birthday: December 3rd Though he can occasionally be a bit gruff, Jet Black is a kind-hearted person who cares deeply for others. He's also one of the more mature, level-headed members of the Bebop Crew. While Sagittarians can be sensible, the sign's thirst for adventure and excitement is usually more prominent.
