A teenage boy and an 18-year-old man are due to appear in court over the fatal stabbing of a father-of-three in Manchester, police said.

Adrian Brown, 34, died in hospital after being found with stab wounds to the chest on Raby Street in Moss Side on Wednesday 8 May 2026.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said a 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder and possession of cannabis and Taio Lee, from Heald Green, Stockport, has been charged with an attempted Section 47 assault.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court later.

A 27-year-old woman has been released on police bail pending further enquiries, GMP said.

Police have asked anyone with information or footage in relation to their investigation to contact them.
