Search for suspects after shot heard near school
Bedfordshire Police says a school in Leighton Buzzard was locked down as a precaution.

Police are hunting for suspects who led them on an eight-mile (12.8km) car chase after reports of shots heard near a school.
Officers from Bedfordshire Police were called to Grebe Drive, Leighton Buzzard, shortly before 15:30 BST on Wednesday with reports of a firearm being discharged.
As a precaution, nearby Greenleas School went into lockdown for a short time.
Officers identified a car, thought to be at the scene of the discharge, but it failed to stop, prompting a chase that ended when the vehicle crashed in Dunstable and the suspects fled on foot.
One man was treated for minor injuries when the car crashed into an unrelated vehicle in Porz Avenue in Dunstable.
The road has been closed between Boscombe Way and the Lovatt Road roundabout while emergency services deal with the collision.
In a statement on its website, the school confirmed it would reopen on Thursday and thanked children, staff and parents "for their composure and calm during the incident".
Officers would remain in the area, the force said.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
